Melmak Blonde is a isolation out of Melmak by Dave Wombat. Why "blonde"? The label refers to the gills... these are ripe and beginning to soften, and purple spores are fully mature on these light colored gills. They're just very few and far apart,so they don't have the volume of spores needed to make the gills darken visibly.They will occasionally produce a fruit or two with a heavier spore load.
